BIO

Niki Sapp began her journey in the music industry at a young age.  At the age of 17, she began remotely interning for Raging Sky Records in Stone Mountain, Georgia .  There she was responsible for corresponding with area venues, radio stations, and colleges.  Niki spent three years working for Raging Sky's marketing department where she conducted online market research and collected data specifically for recording artist The Consultant.

After receiving her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from King's College, Niki relocated to Orlando, Florida where she started taking classes at Full Sail University, an award-winning school for entertainment media.While in Florida, Niki met some influential music industry executives, one of whom was Jeffrey Pringle, former GM of TransCon Records and current head of John Galt Entertainment, who quickly became her mentor and remains a dear friend.  Dedicated to advancing her industry knowledge, Niki joined the Audio Engineering Society and MEISA, and also became a member of the Recording Academy.  She spent time networking and became an active potency with the Student Input Group, as well as an advocate with the initial start-up of the Student Siggraph Chapter in the Animation program at Full Sail.

After receiving her Associate's Degree in audio engineering, Niki moved back to her hometown in the Philadelphia suburbs.  There she promptly began working with Red K Records as their College Radio Promotions Representative.  Meanwhile, Niki connected with executives at Fifth Stone Music, a company that offers a wide array of recording and artist development services.  At Fifth Stone, she became an assistant engineer and live sound mixer for Philly Stir Fry Live.  She received credit as the camera crew and the female crew on the production of "Matrix Drummer", a spoof on the Matrix Kung Fu fight sequence.

It was through her work with Philly Stir Fry Live that Niki was able to land a gig as a live sound engineer for Chaos, a rock-and-roll cover band.  She also started assisting in the promotion of Enjay Records recording artist Mike Tait.  Soon after, Niki became studio manager and assistant engineer at East Coast Recording Company, a full-service recording studio and host of Vulgar Entertainment Group.  There she was able to work with such artists as Josh Shernoff, A Lunatic's Charm, and Woofie Publishing.  She was also a featured extra in the Alabama Productions music video "Time" by Jayy Mannon. 

She has also worked for Alfadog Music as the Media Relations Representative for the band The Fallen, an alternative rock band from the Philadelphia area that Niki assisted in propelling into the music industry.  Ultimately, it became time for Niki to fulfill her entrepreneurial aspirations.  Through the relationships she built, the knowledge she gained, and the respect she earned, it was evident the time had come for her to start her own establishment.  Thus, Niki is proud to present the product of her years of industry experience and knowledge: Take Action Media Agency, LLC.

Niki is also a member of the National Scholars Honor Society and has been named to the National Dean's List.  She is active in the community as a Big with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and as a Lady of Harley with HOG.
